Jay Kool on his visit to the Cockatoo Inn

Those of us who were kids in the 80s and 90s are the last generations to have actually visited the Cockatoo Inn while it was still operating. Many of us are well into our 40s and 50s. We recently connected with one of those younger Cockatoo Inn patrons. Here’s Jay Kool on his visit to the Cockatoo Inn back in the day:

“I only been to California once at a family reunion and I stayed at the @cockatooinn room #442 in Hawthorne, California – not far from Inglewood – and I had one of the best times of my life!! they also shot the some scenes from Jackie Brown here!! #epic”
